The “rebirth” period was a great period for Botticelli. Transforming the Greek and Roman gods stories, to art. For example one of he’s most famous piece “The Birth of Venus.”

Botticelli, born 1445 was a third generation renaissance artist. He used Tempera which was the most common form of painting in the medieval and early rennaissance.

One of biggest time of Raphael, is that he was very well-known painter through the renaissence period. this artis was also part and exposed to leodardo davincis works. He was well known and truely inspired by davincis form of panting.

Caravaggio was an active artist in Rome, Naples, Malta, and Sicily between 1593 and 1610. In 1592, he was causing scandal, because of his volatile character and temper and also because of his controversial painting methods.

Giorgione was taught by Giovanni Bellini, and went on to become one of the greatest Venetian painters of the High Renaissance. His most famous painting, “The Tempest,” is focused on nature, constructing the landscape first and then placing his figures in it.

Judith Leyster painted genre scenes, portraits and still lifes.She was influenced by both the utrecht caravaggistis and Frans Hals.
