I would have to say the Khalo presentation was very interesting...lol she did some pretty bizarre and very detailed work. In a way, i liked how she symbolized her struggle and pain through her work, like the piece of art with the broken column for the spine. Some of her artwork i wasn't too thrilled about like the birth one... lol, but i have to say the presentation was good and very informative. :)

I found MC Escher very interesting because i didn't know him. And i liked his imposible structures like the one with the fish and the one about the faces. I thought he was pretty cool in that aspect.

I believe that the DaVinci's presentation was great because it was provided with alot of information and interesting pictures. Before the presentation, I didn't even know any of the information about DaVinci. But, now if anyone asks me about him,I know I can talk about him.

Dali's work was very interesting, cause he was known also because of his work. it was based on the renaissence. mOST Of his works, were surrealistics, and the paint that i really enjoyed was "the persistance memory" it shows a great effect of the clocks in diferent shapes, and positions.

M.C. Escher was all about printing, he was very big with lithography. Most of the prints that where shown in class where lithography and woodcutting, Escher worked with mezzotint for only a couple of years but, found that it took a long time to create with it. “The Eye” by Escher was shown in the beginning of class was a mezzotint.

I found the presentation on M.C. Escher interesting, as I remember looking at his art when I was younger. The print that transitions from birds to fish, and all of the interconnected lizards were two that I remembered. His art was very unique, and I really enjoyed the presentation.

I found that the presentation on Frida Kahlo was very interesting. I have seen some of her art before but didnt really know whos it was. It was cool to finally know who the art belonged to and the background to why some of them were so dark. She went through a lot of bad things in her life and she really put that into her art. She did a lot of portraits of herself and i found that she is never smiling. she always did serious portraits of herself. I like that she expressed how she felt in them and didnt hold back.

What I am most impressed by is artiest using Relief in woodcut. It amazes me how the artist has to gouged out all of the wood that he or she does not want inked. This process takes a very strong attention to detail, something I most definitely could not do.

Salvador DalĂ is so awesome. He's best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. I like how he expiremented with dada. His paintings give me an overwwhelming feeling. i makes me think/dream about what reality really is.
